Checkout latency climbed past 800ms

What happened

The edge worker that creates checkout sessions started waiting on the payments API. p95 crossed 800ms at 14:10 UTC. Customers can still pay. The worker now times out at 2 seconds and shows a retry instead of a blank button.

Impact

Slower checkout. No failed charges seen.
